On Jan 28th the annual (PIT) point in time count will be run in our county and around the country. in Bergen County Monarch Housing out of Cranford NJ at the end of the day will tally up thee count of homeless found and surveyed in Bergen. Many Volunteers will canvas all 70 towns in the County and hope to get them to take the survey for an accurate count then send them to the Bergen County Housing Health and human services building for the Homeless Connect project to get them the services they need.-there will be many organizations at the Center to help and assess what their needs are. the center is at 120 south river street hackensack nj! this year we are going to try to do it a bit differently. We want to go out days before and let the homeless know about it and have many of them meet at cirtain places and then we will be able to do the count and if you know any homeless please let them know to be in public places in the am like the Hackensack Library on the 28’th in the am. more details soon. you can join us on our face book page to keep updated thank you -Paul Nickels founder HRG Community Resources/ community advocate!
