Who to complain to about no heat in NJ? You can contact, not only your local Buildings / BOH Dept, but you can contact NJ211.org> CLICK HERE! NJ DCA’s State Inspection Section – (609) 633-6241 is the NJ Department OF Community Affairs complaint line! The DCA can help with many housing problems

Did you know “From October 1 to May 1, the rental premises shall be maintained at a temperature of at least 68 degrees Fahrenheit between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.; between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the rental premises shall be maintained at a temperature of at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Some of the resources that Bergen County residents have asked about is help with Related; utilities, weatherization, USF/LIHEAP! There are 2 Locations that you can get your application for the Weatherization program.: The River Homeless Mission at Second Reformed church hackensack and GBCA’s location in Hackensack 316 State street; online, for the request!
